As CEO, she guides the company’s strategic direction, market expansion, investor engagement, and partnerships. She also oversees daily operations, ensuring that every country deployment, training rollout, and product delivery meets the highest standards of service and impact.

Her background in sustainable business, energy efficiency, and retrofit delivery - combined with her extensive experience leading complex programs and multi-stakeholder initiatives - positions her uniquely to scale transformative energy solutions across Africa’s built environment.

Chief Strategy & Investment Officer 

As Chief Strategy, Compliance & Policy Officer at RetroTech Energy Africa, Jodell leads strategic government engagement, public policy alignment, and regulatory design across multiple jurisdictions. With a robust background in law, international energy policy, and public affairs, she is responsible for shaping the legal frameworks that support national EPC (Energy Performance Certification) adoption and ensuring compliance standards meet international best practice.

Her role involves spearheading government partnerships, drafting national legislation templates, and facilitating the rapid onboarding of countries adopting energy performance mandates. She provides expert oversight of the legal instruments, policy integration plans, and compliance toolkits deployed through RetroTech’s platform to support effective climate governance and enforcement.

In addition to her policy leadership, she manages grant applications, institutional funder relationships, and reporting on project deliverables across multiple geographies. Her experience spans working with ministries, regulatory bodies, and climate finance institutions to align energy performance mandates with SDG and NDC targets.

As a legal professional trained in energy law and commercial regulation, she ensures all platform operations and country engagements comply with both local legal frameworks and global climate reporting protocols. She is instrumental in embedding equity, accountability, and public sector alignment into every RetroTech deployment.

Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to inclusive governance, climate justice, and capacity-building across emerging economies.
